Aaron Lamy has his eyes on the prize

Aaron Lamy from Cheshunt had his eyes firmly set on one fish when he joined a Lee Valley pit, and during a recent four-night session, he finally nailed it!
After banking a 29lb 8oz common at 7am, the bite time came at exactly the same time the next day – this time resulting in the North Lake Common at 41lb 10oz.
The fish came from a clay spot between two bars at 22 wraps, where he offered his trusty Ronnie rigs baited with Milky Malt pop-ups and fake corn over a bed of crushed 18mm SLK boilies, pellets and particles.
Not stopping there, Aaron added fish of 16lb and 17lb, the latter coming just 10 seconds after getting the rod back out!
“This fish is the reason I joined the lake – only two more targets left before moving on!”
    Solid angling, Aaron!
