Andy Jenkins trusts his instincts

Adam Jenkins proved that sometimes it pays to trust your instincts – or in this case, your wife’s!

After arriving at his Lincolnshire syndicate to find just one swim free, he debated packing up and heading elsewhere. But with a simple, well-timed “you never know,” his wife convinced him to stay – and it turned out to be the right call!

After sitting through a day of rain, two bites came at dusk. The first unfortunately found the weed and was lost, but the second came just as

Adam was topping up his other spot and resulted in a lovely 28lb 12oz mirror.

The fish was caught on an SLK Corker pop-up fished on a Ronnie rig over a spread of around 80 mixed-size SLK boilies fired out with a catapult.
