Chris Ansell takes on Embryo's new Baston Shallow Pit

CHOD FISHING ON BASTON SHALLOW. Can you beat this rig for Spring Fishing!?

@anglingdirect’s Carp Chapters heads to Embryo’s newest Day-Ticket lake, Baston Shallow Pit where @Chris_Ansell hopes to bring an old favourite back out of retirement – the Chod Rig! With shallow, open water and lots of low-lying weed, this pop-up presentation is just about as good as you can get when it comes to casting at showing fish – as Chris proved!

Throughout the course of his 48hr session, Chris landed 5 carp to just over 27lb using this tactic and the whole lot was filmed in an action-packed episode for AnglingDirectTV on YouTube.
