Lee 'Mozza' Morris travels to Ladywood Lakes

Carp fishing’s longest-running YouTube series returns with Episode 3 of Winter Series 11 – and this time the journey heads north to one of the country’s most impressive day-ticket venues, Ladywood Lakes in West Yorkshire.

The DNA Baits Winter Series is all about taking on the harshest conditions winter can throw at you, and Ladywood is no soft touch. With depths reaching 22ft and a stock of stunning carp pushing well over 40lb, this is a far cry from your average day-ticket water. Get your baiting or presentation wrong and you’ll be punished – get it right, and winter magic is very much on the cards.

It’s a rare northern visit for Mozza, so to keep him from feeling too homesick he’s joined by his son Lewyn, along with one of the North’s most consistent and respected big-carp anglers, Roger Bacon.

With two lakes to choose from and carp holding up in serious depths, the scene is set for a fascinating winter challenge.

Expect two very different approaches as Mozza and Roger go head-to-head, adapting their tactics, baiting strategies and winter mindsets in a battle for bites under brutal conditions.
