Fox Cookware Infrared Power Boil Stove and Pan Reviews

Performance & Efficiency

The Infrared Power Boil Stove is designed with infrared technology, which means it provides a much more concentrated and even heat compared to traditional camping stoves. One of the most impressive aspects is its speed—I was able to boil a cup of water in just 45 seconds. That’s incredibly fast and a huge advantage when you’re outdoors and need a quick meal or hot drink. The stove also consumes less gas than conventional burners, making it more economical for longer trips.

Power Boil Pan Design & Features

Pairing the stove with the Power Boil Pan takes efficiency to another level. The pan has a heat exchanger system, which maximizes heat transfer and reduces energy waste. This feature ensures that you get the most out of every bit of gas, and in combination with the stove’s high-intensity infrared heat, it makes boiling and cooking significantly faster than using a standard pan.

The pan itself is made from hard anodised aluminium, which is both lightweight and extremely durable. It also features a Fox Camo neoprene sleeve, which provides insulation to help keep food or liquids warm for longer. I found this especially useful when making coffee in the morning—no need to rush to drink it before it cools down.

Portability & Practicality

Another great design element is the fold-over handle, which serves two purposes: it allows for a secure grip when cooking and also locks the lid in place for easy transport. I used the 1.25-litre version, and it was the perfect size—not too bulky but big enough for a solid meal. The best part? The pan is designed to store the stove and a 230g gas canister inside, making it incredibly compact and easy to pack in a backpack or tackle box.
