Review – PB Products Cutter Pliers

These PB Products Cutter Pliers have been in my kit for around three years now, and they’re still going strong. The blades are incredibly sharp and make light work of braid, mono, and even light wire traces — far better than the average scissors or cutters you get bundled with tackle kits.

They feel comfortable in the hand thanks to the non-slip grips, and the compact size makes them easy to store in my tackle pouch without taking up much space. I’ve ended up using them for far more than just braid — they’ve become my go-to cutting tool on the bank.

Considering how long they’ve lasted without losing performance, they’ve been a brilliant investment.

Overall

A sharp, long-lasting, and versatile set of cutters ideal for braid, mono, and more — built to last season after season.

Pros

Extremely sharp and precise
Cuts braid, mono, and even light wire easily
Comfortable non-slip grips
Compact and easy to store
Durable — lasted me over 3 years without dulling

Cons

Overkill for very light tasks where scissors might suffice

About PB Products Cutter Pliers

The PB Products Cutter Pliers are a compact yet highly effective cutting tool, designed for precision and durability in all rig-making and tackle preparation tasks. Built with hardened, high-carbon steel blades, these pliers are sharp enough to slice through braid, mono, and fluorocarbon with minimal effort.
Featuring ergonomic, non-slip grips for comfort and control, they’re small enough to keep in a pocket or tackle pouch, but tough enough for years of service on the bank.
