These have been consistent for my catch rate

I still remember the first time I tried the Scent From Heaven Pop Ups – I was on a tricky little gravel pit, the kind where the carp have seen every bait under the sun. I’d been struggling all morning, watching the odd swirl and roll, but nothing was happening on my usual hookbaits. So I thought, why not?, dug into my tackle bag, and pulled out a pot of these pop ups.

As soon as I opened the lid, that sweet, creamy smell hit me – almost good enough to eat. I stuck one on a rig, flicked it out over a scattering of boilies, and within half an hour, the rod was away. Solid, chunky common – first fish of the day.

Since then, they’ve become my secret weapon. They stand out perfectly over a bed of bait, and the fish just seem to pick them out every time. I’ve had them working on busy day-ticket waters, quiet estate lakes, even in the middle of winter when nothing else gets a touch. They’re always in my tackle bag, because I know that if I need a bite, these give me the best chance.

You can mess about with all sorts of baits, but for me, Scent From Heaven Pop Ups are one of those rare ones that just work.

Overall

I can’t recommend Scent From Heaven Pop Ups by Baitworks enough. You just can’t go wrong with these – I’ve had a fair few carp on them over the past years, and they’ve earned a permanent spot in my tackle bag. The smell is absolutely spot on – sweet, creamy, and instantly noticeable – and they really stand out over a bed of bait. Whenever I’m not sure what to put on, I reach for these, and more often than not, they do the job.
